Here at Zandi K Salon and Skin Studio we have so much exciting news we want to share with you. Through hard work and dedication, and your continued support, we have been able to grow our business in the past year to further our dedication to excellence in our industry. You are the reason that we are able to do what we love, and because of that, we want to share our story of growth and success with you. Below are some of the highlights from the past year, and a few things that you can expect from us in the future.

New Location
While it has definitely been our most labor-intensive endeavor this year, we could not be more excited about opening the doors of our Denver West location. We are so happy that we will be able serve our wonderful and loyal clients from two locations in Denver. Our new Aveda Lifestyles location features eight styling chairs, a brow bar and body wax room, as well as a full Aveda retail experience. Many of our talented staff members will be splitting their schedules between the Central Denver (Inca St.) and Denver West locations, giving our clients more access to the talent we have cultivated at Zandi K. Our new location has already been visited by some famous faces, including Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray and Tad Kinchla of Blues Traveler, and we know you will be as excited about the beautiful new place as they were. Expansion and Education
Looking for a little more space? So were we. We have expanded our Inca St. location to include four additional styling stations, as well as a dedicated space for our Advanced Education Training. As always, we remain steadfast in our commitment to providing our clients with the very best services – performed by individuals who have carefully crafted their technique. At Zandi K we don’t just sharpen our shears; we sharpen our skills through weekly trainings and advanced education with Aveda. We are proud to be a leader in salon and spa training, and we are honored to host Aveda Calendar Classes for the entire Denver Aveda network.
NAHA
One of the things we pride ourselves on at Zandi K is keeping our stylists excited about our industry – and what could be more exciting than a red carpet awards show in Las Vegas?! NAHA, the North American Hairstyling Awards, is the Grammies or Oscars of our industry. This annual awards ceremony recognizes the leaders and innovators in the salon world for outstanding achievement in cut, color, makeup, avant-garde styling and more. This year Faye and Nicki had the pleasure of joining eight Zandi K staff members on the red carpet at Mandalay Bay to
cheer on fellow stylists and be inspired by the very latest in hair and makeup. Our team came back energized and motivated to bring new styles to the mile-high city. We’d say more, but you know how it goes: what happens in Vegas…
New Branding
What’s that you say? Something looks different? Well, thank you for noticing. We hope you love our new branding as much as we do! In an effort to continue our growth, and stay current with our fresh new attitude, we’ve made some exciting changes to our branding and logo. Over the next few weeks you’ll notice these changes in our online presence, on the web and in social media, and at our locations in our signage, business cards and menus. We love our new look as much as we love creating new looks for you!
Social Media Interaction and Contests
It has always been our goal to provide our clients with the latest in beauty and fashion in the salon. To take that idea a step further, we want to make that information available to you not just in the salon, but wherever you are. We are striving to create useful, valuable content for our clients, and beauty lovers across the globe, and deliver that information to you through blogging, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Following us on social media will give you instant access to makeup tips, hair color trends, updo tutorials, before and after pictures, beauty blogs, industry news and more. In addition, we will be hosting regular social media contests than can win you Aveda products and Zandi K gift cards. Don’t miss out and please tell your friends!
Aveda Fall Collection
We are so proud and can’t help but brag about one of our fabulous owners, Nicki Wenz. She had the privilege of being one of the creative minds behind the makeup looks for Aveda’s new fall collection. The pictures will be part of Aveda’s international marketing and we can’t wait till they come out so we can share them with you. Here’s a little sneak peak. Way to go Nicki!
